The ELHI Community Center currently has two openings for Front Office Positions. We will be accepting resumes and applications via email at or at the ELHI Office until positions have been filled. All ELHI Community Center Employees will be required to pass a drug test and a background check.

Administrative Assistant: 15 hours/week
The ELHI Community Center Administrative Assistant duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the ELHI office and building and is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including basic office, building and tenant management. Duties include managing communications, scheduling public spaces, and overseeing building and grounds maintenance and cleaning.

Development Coordinator: 35 hours/week
The Development Coordinator (DC) for the ELHI will have numerous responsibilities related to organizational operations. The DC must have strong leadership skills to manage staff, volunteers, partnerships and events. The DC is responsible for researching and writing grants for operations and programming for the ELHI and in conjunction with community partners. They are the point person for planning and executing events, coordinating volunteers and interns, communicating with tenants and potential tenants, and forming collaborative partnerships with local entities. The coordinator manages internal and external communications for the ELHI including meetings, work groups, and staff/tenant meetings. The DC is responsible for the financial operations of the ELHI. The DC is in charge of marketing of the ELHI and its events in all manner of media. Organization skills are a must, as the DC often handles many unique tasks at once. The DC must be computer and internet literate with the ability to work with a variety of software.

Board Member

The ELHI Board of Directors is currently full, but we are always looking for community minded, enthusiastic individuals to take part in helping guide the organization as we grow and develop as an anchor part of the community of Ignacio Colorado. 

All meetings are open to the public and we welcome you to come join us. Our Strategy and Planning meetings are typically held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 9am - 11am,  and our Business meetings are on the 4th Monday of each month from 9am - 10am.  Meetings may be rescheduled to accommodate for our Board Member's busy schedules.
